Easy Scarf

I needed a break from socks and Christmas stockings, so I have started the super-easy "Cameo Faggot Stitch Scarf" on the Crystal Palace Yarns website. The pattern calls for an Aran-weight yarn and large needles. I am using Taos from Crystal Palace, a worsted-weight yarn and size 11 needles. I think it makes the stitch motif more obvious.
The pattern is a 3-stitch repeat, so you can easily make it as wide or as narrow as you want. You only need to adjust the amount of yarn required. It's a lot of fun and a very easy, very quick knit.

Book Finished!

Well, it's been nearly a year since my last post! The book-on-cd is finally finished and published. Yippee!! See the post below for more information or contact your local yarn shop. I am SO excited. I received my copy and I am so proud. :-) Several of the patterns are mine, but those of the other designers are really awesome!! Absolutely beautiful! Some intricate, some simple, some lacy, some with several colors, some plain. But all are great. (can you tell I'm excited????)
